This traditional Country Show dates back to the 1950s and showcases British Farming, its Farmers and the Food they produce. Visitors get to explore a wealth of attractions, a shopping village, local crafts and view livestock. Plus there is a fairground for the children.
A wide variety of trade stands are also available ranging from agricultural dealerships to country clothing.
Young Farmers spend all getting ready to compete against other members from across the county in competitions. Over 1000 classes take place at, on Rally day and at the two pre-cursor events; Pre-Rally and Parry Cup.
Don’t forget to check out the show guide which lists all the activities and how to watch them. There is something for everyone.
Bedfordshire Young Farmers Clubs
The name may say different but you definitely don’t have to be a farmer to join a Young Farmers’ club. Being a member of one of our clubs is for anybody who enjoys being outdoors and making life long friends, agriculture can be as big (or small) a part of your time in Young Farmers as you want.
Growing-Beds Recycling Services Ltd has been providing green waste composting and wood waste biomass solutions to Local Authorities, Waste Management Companies and Local Landscape Gardeners since 2002.
Our bespoke recycling facility in Ravensden, Bedford produces BSi PAS 100 Compost for use in both agriculture and horticulture. Our wood waste biomass is used in a local biomass energy power station which generates 3.2MW of green electricity into the national grid.
